WordPress websites need to be kept up-to-date. The most important tasks include updating plugins, updating the theme and updating WordPress itself. It’s quite possible to learn how to do this yourself, or alternatively you can purchase a maintenance package from us, and we’ll take care of it for you. Are there any extra costs I should know about?
You will need to purchase web hosting and a domain name for your website. Both are inexpensive and we can take care of this for you if you like. We also recommend that website owners ensure their sites are kept up-to-date. It’s possible to learn how to do this but you might want to pay a professional to do it so you don’t have to bother. In that case, ask us about our website maintenance plans.
What about hackers – will my website be secure?
Basically, yes it will, but there is a caveat. We make our websites with good security high on our list of priorities, but it’s very important you do not let plugins, the theme and WordPress itself become out of date by not updating them regularly. That’s why we offer a maintenance package, though you can learn how to do this yourself.
